Rapid Test Prototype Study

The development is usually split into three or four phases: Feasibility, Optimization, Validation and if required Technology Transfer. Each project is considered individually with detailed work plans, costing and reports produced for every phase. Regular internal and external reviews ensure agreed milestones and customer specifications are met before commitment to the next phase.

The feasibility stage is designed to confirm that the customer’s specifications can be achieved with the materials provided or sourced. Prototype tests and detailed reports are produced for evaluation.

The optimization stage produces a robust and reproducible test that fulfils the customer specification. A wide range of membranes, coating buffers, conjugation parameters, buffer release pads, sample pads etc are evaluated using proven protocols. This phase identifies the critical components and conditions. Optimized tests and detailed reports are again produced for customer evaluation.

The validation stage involves the manufacture of three independent lots using different batches of critical materials. This phase confirms the standing operating procedures function correctly and the tests can be manufactured reproducibly. Extensive stability and functionality studies are also completed on all three batches. The batch sizes are negotiable and are supplied to the customer together with a detailed report.

The Technology Transfer phase is negotiable. i+MED will provide the required paperwork and technical support required to transfer the manufacture of the tests to the customers facilities. However, if required i+MED are fully equipped to contract manufacture large or small quantities of tests within our dedicated production facilities.

MEMS Platform Prototype Study

Microfluidic MEMS technology has potentially unlimited applications such interesting areas today are in diagnostic devices, food safety, and human health. Using microfluidic MEMS devices in place of larger-scale equipment will replace bulky and slow laboratory equipment with portable units that can be deployed in the field where the analysis is needed.

Using our top-down design and analysis tools, our microfluidic bundles address critical design issues by tapping into our extensive fluidics library and providing 3D simulation of bubbles, droplets, fluid flow and heat transfer, along with coupled solid structural deformation and piezoelectric.

With i+MED and TMEC (Thai Microelectronic Center facilities, we offer the special line production of microfluidic chip with the competitive cost. It is suitable for start-up products with small amount of volume, research works and prototype development.

Customized Gold Conjugation

The custom conjugation service is flexible in a small or large scale conjugations using your own antibodies or
antigens. The conjugations are carried out in accordance with well established protocols. Each antibody or antigen has its optimal conditions determined to maximize the functional performance and long term stability.
With each custom conjugation i+MED will provide 10ml of conjugate at OD10 @530nm, or other concentrations can be produced on request. All conjugates are subjected to accelerated stability testing to establish preliminary stability data.

i+MED will normally supply the conjugate in an optimized buffer but if requested will also provide the conjugate in the customer’s buffer of choice. Where possible a capture antibody or antigen and test analyte should be provided so that functional testing of the system can be completed. A conjugation report will also be provided as part of the service.

i+MED’s contract Manufacturing system is very flexible yet controlled under ISO13485:2003 and GMP Standard. We offer more varieties of services, such as Production, Assembly, Packaging and FDA approval certificate as well as certificate of free sale services.

For any product customization, such as custom molding, Labeling and packaging, uncut sheet etc., we also dedicated to work with you for any budget you have to give you the best choice.

At i+MED Laboratories’ factory, all units are being certified under ISO9001:2000. Certification that entails a requirement to fulfill and assure predetermined standards, leading to consistently high quality. There are 3 main specific areas in our quality program; (a) environmental control, (b) processes control and (c) product control.

i+MED laboratories’ factory is specifically design for the purpose of manufacturing the rapid test and medical supplies. Our restrict area, we have not only control its environment to meet class 100,000 cleanroom-standard but also control its temperature and humidity, the key factors, in the specific level (~25C at 10-30% RH). The others area is designed to meet GMP medical supply’s standard. Our intensive quality control program is focused on the process inspection and the criteria. We process the inspection procedure at all production station with Single Sampling Plans for Normal Inspection based on MIL-STD-105E Level s-2 at AQL 0.1 and used MIL-STD-105E Level I at AQL 0.1 for finished product inspection.
